As well as helping Hull City towards a record win in the Barclays Premier League, Tom Huddlestone’s goal against Fulham on 26 December is also helping to raise money for charity.
The goal during the 6-0 victory at the KC Stadium on Boxing Day ended a period of two and a half years without a goal for the 27-year-old midfielder, a run that had led to a dare not to cut his hair until he had scored.
The dare has led to almost £50,000 being pledged for Cancer Research as the player finally had his hair cut on Thursday afternoon.
