Indian Short Film ‘Beti’ At Seattle Film Festival

“Beti”, a non-fiction short film on girl child education, made by young student filmmakers of the city, has been invited for a special screening at the 42nd Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), Washington DC.

It is the only short film from India to be featured amongst 421 films representing 85 countries, the filmmakers claimed. It’s a four minute documentary.

Purple People Labs produced the film with a local school as a joint Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for kids from the Young Filmmakers Academy.
