Iowa Indie Film Festival Changes Format

The Iowa Independent Film Festival is shaking up its format after the 2015 festival was postponed. “We decided to have our festival in 2016 and go every other year. That way it’s easier on the volunteers,” festival co-founder Tanna Frederick said. “We already have a great line up in the works.” For eight years, the festival has had its share of changes as the board of director’s works to find a format that gives festival-goers the best experience. Frederick, an Iowa native, is an independent film and theatre actress.
