Cinema lovers, rejoice. India’s only travelling festival, the sixth Jagran Festival, is back with a bang. Aimed at bringing cinema closer to its lovers, the festival commences in Delhi and will be held from July 1, 2015 till July 5, 2015 at Siri Fort Auditorium. This year, the festival is centered on the theme of ‘Happiness’ and will travel through 17 cities over three months. The opening day of the five-day festival will see films competing under categories such as ‘Indian Feature’, ‘Top Shorts’, ‘Jagran Shorts’, ‘Cinema of the sellers’ and ‘Debut Director. Besides offering a platform for films in the Jagran Premier category, the event will acknowledge the spirit of old is gold in the ‘Retrospective’ section and also pay homage to one-of-its kind Hindi classics in the ‘Homage’ category.’
