Mumbai, March 2015: The upcoming short film contest,Gionee presents Love Ke Side Effects’ organised by Pocket Films and powered by Fun On Go, boasts of an impressive jury panel comprising of renowned film makers Nagesh Kukunoor and Sudhir Mishra, along with actor and producer Sanjay Suri who will select the winning films for the contest, whose theme is ‘Love and its Side Effects’. The gratification for the contest includes an exciting first prize, which is, couples’tickets to Paris and also other prizes like HD cameras and Gionee smart phones.

 Celebrated film maker Nagesh Kukunoor, known for films such as Hyderabad Blues, Rockford, Iqbal, Aashayein, Lakshmi and his latestDhanak, which was awarded at the Berlinale 2015,said, “Short films are the perfect breeding ground for young and enthusiastic film makers. When I was approached by Pocket Films, I said yes because I’m sure this this festival will bring out different, interesting, quirky films that explore Love and its many avatars”

 Acclaimed film director Sudhir Mishra of Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Dharavi and Chameli fame shared, “Pocket Films and Gionee have created a remarkable platform for amateur film makers to present their ideas and potential to the world. I have often noticed the most creative ideas come from the youngest, least experienced but passionate writers, who are gifted with an original and unbiased view towards storytelling. I am anxiously awaiting this year’s entries spun around love and its different forms.”

The contest in its second year is open for short film entries of 1 to 10 minutes duration since February 14^th till March 31^st 2015. Winner of Best short film by jury will get return tickets to Paris with trophy. 1^st Runner up will get a HD Camera and 2^nd Runner up will get Gionee Smart phones.
