Nasa Astronaut Scott Kelly Posts Picture Of First Flower Grown In Space

The picture of the first flower grown in space, a sizzling orange zinnia has been doing the rounds on the internet after American Astronaut Scott Kelly tweeted its photo on Saturday. Zinnia, an edible flower, was planted in the International Space Stations’ veggie chamber. The plant is not chosen for aesthetic purpose but for scientists to study how plants grow in micro gravity.
