Multi-talented superstar Priyanka Chopra and beautiful actress Frieda Pinto together launched a new campaign “Girl Rising India” in Los Angeles. The main objective of the campaign is to change lives of girls in the country. According to media release, Girl Rising’s India campaign is designed to spark grassroot, community-led change for girls through powerful storytelling and visible advocacy. “The time has come where instead of questioning why we should educate girls, we should be asking why not. When we know that educating a girl can change the world, why wait? With Girl Rising we will change that,” said Freida. The kick-off star studded night event was organized by Vanity Fair and L’Oreal Paris.  The evening celebrated and benefited a film that is expected to change the lives of girls across India. In the Hindi version of the original ‘Girl Rising India’ film, we’ll see some of the most talented stars from Bollywood. The film will release in India in 2015.
