Stan Lee to be a part of TEDxGateway for the first time in Mumbai

Mumbai, December, 2013: Stan Lee, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of POW! Entertainment and the co-creator of some of the world’s most popular superheroes including Spider-Man™, X-Men™, Fantastic Four™, Iron Man™, Hulk™, The Avengers™, and many others will discuss his first original superhero for India, ‘Chakra The Invincible, at the 4th edition of TEDxGateway. This will be Stan Lee’s First TEDx talk anywhere in the world.
Chakra The Invincible, a new animated film that recently launched on Cartoon Network India, was created by Stan at POW! Entertainment, working with director, Sharad Devarajan and Graphic India.
TEDxGateway will showcase an exclusive video from legendary creator, Stan Lee, entitled “Secrets of Great Superheroes.”Through the video, the comic book legend will reveal his process and storytelling secrets for making great superhero characters.
Commenting on the project Stan Lee said, “The incredible story of Chakra, one of my latest and most exciting superhero creations promises to captivate audiences in India and around the world with his adventures. I am thrilled to share some of my thoughts on creating great superheroes with the wonderful audience at TEDxGateway.”
The 4th edition of TEDxGateway comprises of speakers like Dr Shashi Tharoor, Minister of State Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India, Pushpa Basnet, Nepali woman, who has been working to promote the rights of children living behind bars with their incarcerated parents, Franz Gastler, co-founder of Yuwa which uses football to combat child marriage, illiteracy and human trafficking, Jonathan Rives, a poet and multimedia artist from New York City, Steve Winter, Director of Media for Panthera and photographer with National Geographic, and others.
