THE MENTORING PROGRAM
What do most of the innovative programs and startups have in common? It is that they come up with a solution and plan, which is going to change lives.
The mentoring Program (TMP) - Ticket to Bollywood, is the first program designed for actors looking for a break in Bollywood as well as in other film industries of India and the world. It works on the very simple maxim of comforting aspiring actors with the help they need to get a break and then sustain in the film industry.
The founder of TMP Shyam Kishore explains that there has always been the need for this program, which as guidance, was earlier to a large extent, provided by the godfathers of the industry. But it was a few people only, who were fortunate to find genuine persons who could guide them correctly. Now that the times have changed, the new talent among the actors are at sea. However, the questions and tasks remain the same. This program is designed keeping in mind personal experiences of Shyam Kishore’s peers and his own and it will provide the solutions that most actors are seeking.
Shyam Kishore started his career in Bollywood after training from National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi. In the last 15 years in the film industry, he’s been actor/writer/director in projects such as Haseen Dilruba, Lamhaa, Shaurya, Murder on the road to Kathmandu, Woh Pehli Baar, Nissabd, Sacred Games, Afsos, Mirzapur, Gormint, The Good Wife, Slave Market, Upanishad Ganga, Samvidhan, Ek Haseena Thi, Highway 39, Happy Ending, The Unexpected, Missed Connection, Crime Patrol, CID and several TV commercials. And, as an acting coach for voice, speech and communication skills at institutes such as NSD, SRCPA, NIFT, WWI, ICE-Balaji, ASFD, MCRC, MAS, PREKSHA etc.
Having trained quite a many actors, Mr. Shyam Kishore feels there is a need for a mentoring program to help find the right answers related to careers, well-being and the life of new talent. His training in counselling psychology also comes handy as he believes that a complete balance of body, mind and skills is needed for success in the film industry.
The Mentoring program - Ticket to Bollywood is definitely going to fill the gap and give upcoming actors the much-needed support for making a career in the film industry.
TMP believes in the idea of ‘equal opportunity’ and is committed to nurturing the best talents in the film industry. Get in touch at: thementoringpro@gmail.com.
