This unforgettable afternoon marks a new benchmark in conscious luxury and eco-integrated lifestyle in India.
Forest Hills by Viresh Chhabra, along with luxury consultant and celebrity columnist Nisha JamVwal, hosted one of the most flamboyant and well-attended Sunday brunches Mumbai has seen in a long time. Attended by corporate honchos, lawyers, surgeons, politicians, artists, celebrities, and the glitterati of Mumbai, the brunch turned into a champagne sundowner until 8 PM.
Sustainability Takes Centre Stage
Luxury consultant Nisha JamVwal and visionary founder Viresh Chhabra spoke about Forest Hills at Tala—one of the most thoughtfully designed landscapes in the country—giving guests a sneak peek at a movie made by Natasha Baid about the resort, built around sustainability and a deep respect for the environment.
Popular film star Neil Nitin Mukesh announced Chhabra’s donation of land within the estate for the development of an animal rescue shelter, along with his reforestation project of 100,000 trees at Tala. This gesture reflects Chhabra’s values—blending real estate with purpose, and luxury with compassion.
A Who’s Who of Mumbai
Anu Malik with Anju Malik were in full support of the environmental agenda, as were the dynamic Niranjan Hiranandani, adman Prahlad Kakkar, Mrunalini Deshmukh, Vikrum Deshmukh, actors Raman Lamba, Mahesh Thakker, Varsha Usgaonkar, couturiers Pria Kataria Puri and Esha Amin, glamorous Krisha Lulla, nutritionist Nawaz Singhania, philanthropist Noopur Desai, singer Penaz Meswani, Nayantara Thacker, Tanaz Doshi, Malika Singhania, Consul Generals Harjinder Kang and Kobbi Shoshani, Donnawit Poolsawat, and all the flamboyant guests. They enjoyed the afternoon immensely, as much as the extravagant cuisine spread over live kitchens, a never-ending buffet, and grazing tables.
A Vision for the Future
With a legacy rooted in Dubai’s elevated living standards, Chhabra and his father Ved are bringing that same sophistication to India—only this time, surrounded by forests, fresh air, and like-minded souls.
The Forest Hills brunch was more than a beautiful afternoon—it marked the beginning of a movement toward mindful, nature-integrated living that respects both people and the planet. This mission is dear not only to Chhabra and environmental activist JamVwal but also to his legendary father Ved Chhabra, who believes in blending real estate with purpose, luxury, and—most of all—compassion.
