Sony Launches Women’s Channel ‘Sony Pal’

Multi-Screen Media Private Limited announced the launch of a new television channel called Sony Pal at the Hotel Taj Land’s End Aug. 7. Juhi Chawla is the face of the channel focusing on women. Nine shows bring alive the theme “Yeh Pal Hamara Hai” (this moment is ours); N.P. Slated to go on air Sept. 1, the channel will feature shows such as “Simply Baatein” with Raveena Tandon, an interactive chat show; “Dil Hain Chotasa Choti Si Asha,” a game show hosted by Ragini Khanna and Jay Soni; and “Singhasan Battisi,” a period drama based on the story of the throne of Raja Vikramaditya decorated with 32 angel statues. decorated with 32 angel statues.
