Aamir Khan has criticised a “malicious” fake charity appeal which claims links to his TV show Satyamev Jayate. The actor and television host said that donation requests from a group calling itself Humanity Trust are being circulated on electronic media including WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter. “These malicious messages are entirely false, wrong and baseless,” the actor shared in a statement.

“I categorically deny that SMJ has anything to do with Humanity Trust as stated in the malicious messages or that we have called for donations in the name of the said entity.
