A One-day national seminar is going to be organised jointly by JSS University, Mysore and Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, on the theme "Water Resources: Development and Sustainable Management" on March 23. The seminar will be hosted by the Department of Environmental Sciences, Bharathiar University at Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. The Seminar will cover the subthemes such as water resources; water quality and assessment; water conservation practices; governance, management options and implementation for water resource management; trends in water resources planning and monitoring; and management of surface and ground water resources. According to the organizers, the seminar will feature keynote addresses, invited talks and contributed lectures focusing on Water Resource Management. Additionally, there will be poster sessions, and four best poster presentations will be selected for the award.
