Despite limited resources and political instability, Nepal is doing well on health, social indicators.

Recently, on April 10, India?? The Hindu published an article under the headline, ??ndia ranks lower than even Nepal??about the Social Progress Index. First, I was surprised by the tone of the headline and the use of the word ??ven?? I am not a language expert but such a phrasing sends the message that Nepal is somehow ??nferior?? This prompted me to do some research on the development achievements of these two countries.
