Political Leaders In The UK And China Have Declared The Danger Of Global Warming To Be “One Of The Greatest Challenges Facing The World,” And Have Urged All The Countries To Prepare Their Actions Plans Ahead Of A Climate Summit Scheduled To Be Held In Paris In 2015. According to a joint statement that was released on Tuesday by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, and UK Prime Minister David Cameron, climate change is already happening across the world and this can be attributed to human activity. China is considered as the world’s biggest emitter of greenhouse gases, and has been criticized by experts for warming the planet, is expected to place a cap on greenhouse gas emissions. China is exposed to changing climate patterns with much of its agriculture dependent on the regularity of seasonal snowmelt. In the past couple of days, many newspapers in China have carried reports that the region of frozen earth on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau has contracted 16 percent over the last 30 years due to global warming.
