If the path to the future looks like a slow but sure climb toward full efficiency, consider this automated car park a short cut to the summit. This fully automated car park, designed by German firm Lödige Industries, opened its doors on November 11. Located below Dokk1, a library and cultural center in Aarhus, Denmark, the space can hold up to 1,000 cars in its three underground stories. As the video shows, the parking is all handled by a computer that processes payments and placements much like a digital valet.
