Private sector key to sustainability of Asean development, experts say

The “Asean Sustainable Development Symposium” was hosted by Siam Cement Group. “Sustainable development is not an alternative, but it is a must-have agenda for all parties in society,” SCG president and chief executive officer Kan Trakulhoon said. He said SCG had been concerned about sustainable development for more than 10 years, not only at the corporate level but throughout its supply chain of more than 600 firms.
