Vodafone supports female students at UEW

Stella Agyenim-Boateng, and Director of Human Resources at Vodafone Ghana announced this to the media in Accra. She said Vodafone believed in empowering women to become successful in their career choices, hence the sponsorship package. “These ladies are studying Science to subsequently teach and impact our communities and we are happy to be standing beside them to ensure that their dream becomes reality. We hope to subsequently invite them to visit our offices to experience our brand at first hand”. Aside the sponsorship, Mrs Agyenim-Boateng emphasised that Vodafone would mentor beneficiaries in respect of their future aspirations, as part of the company’s Diversity & Inclusion agenda of giving everybody a fair chance. Angela Mensah-Poku, Head of Vodafone Business Solutions expressed her optimism about how the partnership would improve the representation of female students in the science and technology industry.
