Today, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization, announced that Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Estelle will perform at the 2016 HRC Los Angeles Gala this Saturday. Acclaimed television sensation “Empire” will be honored with the HRC Equality Award and will be represented by Lee Daniels, Ilene Chaiken, Jussie Smollett, GaboureySidibe, Serayah McNeill, Kaitlin Doubleday, Ta'Rhonda Jones, and Bryshere Gray. Ryan Murphy will present the HRC Visibility Award to Nina Jacobson – whose work includes the blockbuster hit “The Hunger Games” and FX’s “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.”
