Muscatine continues to showcase and support local and regional independent filmmaking with its third annual Muscatine Independent Film Festival (MIFF) Nov. 5-7. With more than double the submissions as last year, MIFF is highlighting 47 independent films, including films created by local Iowa directors. The film festival provides an awards venue for filmmakers that will inspire creativity and innovative artistic media. This event is also an effort to provide area residents with an engaging evening of arts and entertainment.
