THE First Lady Charity will soon deliver a Mammogram machine for breast cancer to the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.

A member and secretary of the First Lady’s Committee Jane Tozaka announced to women guests during the International Women of Courage award 2014 ceremony last Sunday, the assistance.

She said one of the significant achievements the committee has made after eight years of fundraising is the purchase of a Mammogram machine for breast cancer.

“I am pleased indeed the charity will soon get delivery of the machine and will officially handed over to the ministry of health,” she said.

The charity was able to raise $1.3 million that was used to purchase the digital mammogram machine last year.

The machine is for the National Referral Hospital to improve healthcare for women with breast cancer.
