For its fifth year, the Tumbleweeds Film Festival for Children and Youth are bringing together a wild variety of subjects — including a soccer-savvy hamster, a Ugandan baseball team, and the return of a famous band of treasure hunters. The Utah Film Center today announced the 12 films that will be screened at the Tumbleweeds festival, which runs Sept. 25-27 at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, 138 W. 300 South, Salt Lake City. The festival also includes media arts workshops and the Tumbleweeds Kids Clubhouse — where kids can enjoy physical activities that balance visual content and active play.
