Corporates told to protect child rights

The corporate companies and the business organisations must conduct various programmes for protection of child rights and their implementation as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), said the District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar here on Thursday.
The Collector advised the corporate companies and the business organisations to follow the rules and regulations as per the directions given by the Central government before adopting a child orphanage.


He asked corporate companies to take necessary steps for providing all the basic facilities required to run an orphanage home successfully after adopting them.
