Rafey Mahmood

Rafey Mahmood is one is a National Award winning cinematographer and one of the best that we have. An alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India, Rafey started as an assistant to ace cinematographer Piyush Shah. That is when he closely got to observe Mani Kaul and his cinema. His major body of work has been with Rajat Kapoor with films like Private Detective, Raghu Romeo and the very celebrated Aankhon Dekhi.
