As 2015 winds down, some shows will unfold newer plots in 2016. Udaan is striding into 2016 on a new note for Chakor. The latter is on the run from Bhaiyyaji and his henchmen. She boards a train and finds herself in the company of a white pony. They strike up a bond immediately. The train?s passengers are circus artistes. Chakor befriends a pygmy clown ? Kasah. When it is discovered that, Sultan, the white pony has injured his foot, the vet is called for to put him down. Chakor asks Khanna the circus? owner for 10 days to cure him with her mother?s herbal paste. This turn in the narrative is a welcome eyeful. The Big Top?s colourful setting is a much needed change of scene. The sequences between Chakor and Sultan are what any child would share with his/her pet dog. Whereas events at Azadganj are just the same, Bhaiyyaji now has turned his wrath on the newly branded Imli. In the meanwhile, Zindagi Abhi Baaki Hai Mere Ghost, a Horror Comedy has taken a twist. Peter D?Costa, who murdered the Palekar family in their home Palekar Mansion 25 years, back holds the key to set the Palekars free from their present ghostly stage for eternal life. He is to visit Palekar Mansion courtesy Yug Bastora. Yug, an orphan, lost everything one night. Wandering aimlessly he walked into Palekar Mansion popularly known as haunted house. A few odd and eerie days later Yug meets the resident ghost family; and is well settled with them. The Palekars hope to use Yug to get to Peter and avenge their murder. But, the day Peter is heading for Palekar Mansion, he gets mowed down by a truck. A mystery waits to unfold. Tanaaz Irani shows her mettle as a dramatic actress. She plays the cold and calculating Veronica D?costa with finesse. It isn?t just the plot and casting that has given Zindagi a fresh look and acceptance. It is the setting in Goa that has given Zindagi a zesty look. Zindagi took a while changing gears from a romantic comedy to now where it stands poised for the mystery to unfold. It is obvious that Veronica has been cheating on Peter and Don, her new associate is more than just that. Ashoka too has taken a new direction. As court intrigues at Magadha continue, Ashok is in Taxila and the seeds are being sown for his take over and vanquishing the tyrant Keechaka who is played by Sudhanshu Pandey. Ashoka has already met his love interest Kaurvaki played by Reem Shaikh. Chakravartin Ashok Samrat will now follow parallel tracks. Chanakya?s prot?g? Radhagupt, already has news about Ashok?s survival when Bindusara and rest (excluding Rani Dharma) believe him dead. Plans are to send Sushim to quell Keechaka?s tyranny. There?s going to be more intrigue and confrontation in the coming weeks.
